About PassIntel

Built from the flight line, not the boardroom.

PassIntel is an airspace and satellite intelligence platform built for infrastructure operators and the aerial service providers who serve them. We detect every aircraft crossing your pipeline corridors, predict when methane-detecting satellites will approach your facilities, and create tamper-proof compliance records proving proactive response.

The platform combines two intelligence layers: aircraft surveillance powered by independent ADS-B data, and satellite pass prediction driven by orbital mechanics for 24 active earth observation satellites. Together, they give operators advance notice, independent verification, and a compliance posture that holds up under regulatory scrutiny.

Gabe Romero

Founder & CEO

Before building PassIntel, Gabe spent 3.5 years at one of the largest aerial methane leak detection providers in the oil and gas industry. He led global survey management - responsible for domestic and international fleets flying a combined 10,000+ flight hours per year. He saw the same question come up constantly, from operators and providers alike: who is actually flying over my assets? It was a simple question that was surprisingly difficult to answer.

He started PassIntel to answer it - and in the process, discovered that operators needed far more than a flight log. They needed classified, scored, verified aerial intelligence they didn't even know was possible.

Prior to the private sector, Gabe served 10 years as a U.S. Army Officer and Aeromedical Evacuation pilot, flying the HH-60 Black Hawk across varied ICAO airspace - from Alaska to Afghanistan to Korea. That background in aviation operations, mission planning, and airspace management is the foundation PassIntel is built on.
