Cookies Policy
PassIntel Inc.· Last updated: June 4, 2026
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and, in some cases, measure how the site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage work the same way and are covered by this policy.
2. Cookies We Use
PassIntel keeps its cookie footprint deliberately small. Our public website sets no cookies at all. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere.
Essential cookies
The only cookie we set is required for signed-in Platform users and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token (Supabase) | Keeps Platform users signed in (authentication session) | Up to 13 months, refreshed while you remain signed in; cleared on sign-out |
Functional storage
The Platform uses browser local storage to remember interface preferences such as filters, sort order, and map settings. This data stays on your device and is not used for tracking.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Plausible is a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies, does not store personal information on your device, and does not track you across other websites. Because it is cookieless, it requires no consent banner and there is nothing to opt out of at the cookie level. Plausible's own practices are described at plausible.io/privacy.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Our payment processor may set cookies on its own checkout pages when paid subscriptions launch. Those cookies are governed by the processor's own policy.
4. Your Choices
Consent. Because we use only essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is required. If we ever add cookies that require consent under applicable law, we will introduce a consent mechanism before they are placed and update this policy.
Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and some site features from working.
5. Changes
We will update this policy when our cookie usage changes and post the revised version with an updated date.
